Marla “No Stress” Hollenquest is a leading expert in ISO standards and auditing, with more than 30 years of quality management leadership experience. She has guided 340+ organizations to successful ISO certification, helping teams build practical, audit-ready systems that work in real life—not just on paper.

A Colorado State University graduate with a B.S. in Industrial Technology, Marla began her career at Ford Motor Company’s Dearborn Stamping Plant as a production supervisor. She was introduced to ISO through QS-9000 (now IATF 16949) in 1992, and her passion for quality systems took off while shadowing an experienced consultant and auditor—an experience that shaped her hands-on, “no stress” approach to auditing and implementation.

Leveraging deep experience across automotive, aerospace, and medical device industries, Marla is known for simplifying the complexities of ISO certification and translating requirements into clear, effective processes for both manufacturing and service organizations.

Committed to developing the next generation of quality leaders, Marla created the accredited ISO 9001 Internal Auditor+ Training Program. The program blends comprehensive ISO 9001 training with real-world application—giving participants the opportunity to engage with real clients and observe expert auditors in action. Marla’s philosophy is simple: mastery comes from doing, not just studying.

Outside of work, Marla is a founding member of the Divas on Course Golf Club and a Master Gardener in training.
